| My nephew, JJ Wright, has worked very hard for a long time to be accepted into the US Marine Corps officer training program. The Corps has kept putting him off, and finally suggested that he enlist and after basic training he could apply for OCS. After thinking this over, he decided to go for it, and is now undergoing basic training, and I pray that the Lord will keep him safe, give him wisdom, and help him to see his next steps.
Update 22 may - JJ has finished basic training.
Update 20 july - JJ has been accepted into OCS! This happened just as he was about to report for special training prior to being sent to Afganistan, so we are all very grateful to the Lord for sparing him that. |
